Sutton Memorial Park is currently for sale and consists of 588+/- acres in Knott County, Kentucky, and the Elk
Capital of Kentucky.  The terrain is made up of rolling hills, flat land, and valleys.  The valleys are mostly suitable
for rental cabins while the flat land is most suitable for lodges, log homes, etc.  This property is located in Knott
County, near the town of Hindman, and only five miles from the city of Hazard, in Perry County and Jackson, in
Breathitt County.  The property is a haven for wildlife, including Elk, deer, black bears, wild turkeys, coyotes,
raccoons, opossums, bald eagles, etc. On the Sutton Heirs 598 acres, there have been some trails designated for
ATV use, connecting the old specified county roads to Robinson Forest (University of Kentucky) in Breathitt
County.  Water and electricity are presently being run to furnish this 598 acres.  It is located in the head of John
S. Combs Branch which is a tributary of Ball Creek which is a tributary of the KY river.  The land was purchased by
Tom B. Sutton in 1943 from Dicey Smith.  It now belongs to the heirs of Tom and Zella Sutton which make up
Sutton Developments, LLC.
